Wallaroo’s 12th Store! – Grand Opening Event
It’s official! Wallaroo’s is opening our 12th store location! We’re born and bred out of Spokane, Washington and we’re stoked to add a fourth brick and mortar location in the area. Even as we continue to expand into new areas, we’re so grateful for the community in the greater Spokane area that has grown with us and supported us for nearly 8 years now! We feel unbelievably lucky to be able to do what we do everyday, and it’s all thanks to our customers like you that allow us to continue growing and expanding, so thank you. New Spokane Valley Location This new location will be in Spokane Valley in the old White Elephant building (12614 E. Sprague Ave.), which we’re super excited to take over. This new store is in a prime location on Sprague Avenue, and we couldn’t be happier to have this opportunity. Grand Opening Event We will be hosting a grand opening event to celebrate the opening of this new store on July 16th starting at 10am and continuing all day. What? A furniture brand on TikTok?
If you’re reading this that must mean our marketing techniques are working. Something unique about Wallaroo’s is our fully staffed in-house marketing team. We may be small, but we are mighty! We’ve been making some pretty big waves lately and if you’re interested in what we’ve been up to then keep reading! TikTok As you probably know, TikTok is exploding right now and has been for the past two and a half years. During the pandemic, TikTok got insanely popular and while it was initially thought of as a ‘Gen Z’ social platform, it quickly became what it is today; a massive, multi-genre, mega platform. TikTok came in and shook everything up for every other social media platform. What used to work for social media marketing and advertising no longer applies in every situation. The game is changing and Wallaroo’s is pivoting right along with it. We started focusing heavily on TikTok content in 2020 and quickly realized that this could make a huge difference for us. We’ve now grown our account to over 20K followers and have had many TikToks go viral. If you’re on the furniture side of TikTok, you might’ve seen our viral video of the Cracken or this video of the Barbados. Posting on TikTok isn’t only great for brand awareness and recognition, but it’s also super helpful for us to pay attention to which videos are popular among our viewers. Another cool aspect of Wallaroo’s is that we design and manufacture our own furniture. We pay close attention to comments, suggestions and even complaints! Feedback from our customers is immensely beneficial for us because we can make changes that are recommended. Best-Sellers The Cracken is our European style lounge sectional. This Cracken has gone viral on TikTok multiple times since it’s unique and no one else makes anything like it. The Cracken is a stylish and sleek sectional with adjustable backrests for those that want the aesthetic sofa with all the benefits of a recliner! This sofa was dreamt up by our founders, Nathan and Bailee who had no idea if it would work or if it would be a total flop. However, it worked and now it’s one of our best-sellers. Come see us!
