One of the best parts about doing business locally and on a wide-scale level is getting to interact and form relationships with other businesses, near and far. Supporting other businesses and sharing the love is something we are super excited about doing here at Wallaroo’s. We’re all about relationships and connections. Whether that be business to business, or with our own customers, we strive to also put people first.
Connecting with others
As a furniture company, we love getting to interact with other businesses in the industry. Home supply stores, artists, creators, really anyone who cares about homes, furniture, and interior design. Whether our connection is in the way of purchasing products, partnering up for giveaways, teaming up with influencers, or purchasing other businesses’ products to show our support. We’re inspired by others and love supporting where we can.
Partnering with brands
We connect with people in a few different ways. In some cases, we supply their products in our stores, such as King Koil Mattresses and Anchored Northwest Candles. These companies have products that we love and want to share with others. By bringing them into our own stores we are forming those business-to-business relationships and sharing them with our customers. Hosting giveaways is another way we like to help support our brand and the other companies’ brands. Currently, we have a giveaway going on that might just be the best one yet! We teamed up with King Koil to offer a brand new SmartLife Lotus mattress to the winner of the giveaway. This is a top-of-the-line mattress and is so luxurious. Be sure to enter the giveaway, and check out the YouTube video we posted of Karley, our sales staff member talking about all the amazing aspects of the mattress! We’ve also hidden Anchored Northwest Candles in our stores during our weekly Instagram and Facebook Live videos to offer an exciting surprise for the finder of the candle. Getting to do these fun things gets our staff and our customers excited. It also allows us to form lasting connections with other businesses!
Supporting other businesses
Another way we connect with other companies is by purchasing products. A few weeks ago we wanted to show our support to amazing artists and brands that make and sell products we love. We follow these companies on social media but wanted to show them off in a bigger way. We decided to purchase different pieces of artwork and items from various companies and display them in a photoshoot with one of our egg chairs. This was such a fun project for us and it also created a stronger relationship with the brands we featured! The brands we bought products from and chose to feature in this photoshoot are Effortless Composition, Expedition Subsahara, and Safavieh. (P.S. keep your eyes peeled for a super special giveaway of these items we purchased!)
Working with influencers
Connecting with influencers is another way we like forming relationships and expanding our brand into new areas. Partnering with social media influencers is beneficial for both parties. For us, we get our name out there with a new crowd which allows us to ultimately connect with more people. Creating a partnership with influencers greatly progresses both brands. Social media is a really unique tool for businesses to utilize. Algorithms are down to a science depending on the various platforms. There are a lot of tactical techniques that go into successfully using social media for business purposes. Despite all of that, when you break it down, it’s all about people. Cultivating those friendships and bringing value to people’s lives is what really matters and is the goal we are all trying to achieve.
Putting people first
We believe the best way to bring value to others and expand brand awareness is by keeping our core beliefs and culture top of mind at all times. At Wallaroo’s, it is always our biggest priority to put people first. Whether that be our customers, our team members, our social media friends, or other brands– it’s people that we care about more than anything else.
We’re always looking to form friendships and connect with new people, so be sure to check out our website and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok! We’re pumping out tons of content these days and are having a ton of fun experimenting with what works and what doesn’t. That’s the cool thing about having an in-house marketing team in an industry where that’s fairly uncommon. We’re just figuring it out as we go, and we hope you’ll join along for the journey!
